Hill View Manor

A little about Hill View Manor:
In October is 1926, Lawrence
County opened it's facility to house the county's helpless, aged,
chronically and mentally ill citizens. The home had a hospital, kitchen,
laundry and section for the officers and employees.I n addition it had it's
own cemetery and bomb shelter.
An addition of a skilled care
wing in 1976 brought the building to over 63,000 sq ft. And the name was
changed to Hill View Manor.
After financial strain the
county home was forced to close in January of 2004.
There were many natural
deaths, as well as suicides that happened while the building was in
operation.
Naturally the county's hope and
determination to make this building stand out from all the others still hold
true today as many spirits still call Hill View Manor their home.
*Our special
thank you to Candy and Gary for allowing us to investigate and for extending
such outstanding hospitality.
Findings:
Hill View was an extremely exciting
place to investigate. Each team member had many personal experiences with
disembodied voices and with seeing shadow people. The majority of evp's
captured were class A evp's. A few team members also captured pictures that
are unexplainable. Our team is looking forward to doing another
investigation soon. Hill View Manor is amazing.
Here is a little of what our team
of investigators found that evening.
