Private Residence
After being
requested to investigate this private residence, our team of 5 investigators
set the investigation for 8 PM, and planned on concluding at 3:00 AM
depending on the amount of visible and audible activity.
Knowing the importance and accuracy of this
investigation we carefully documented environmental conditions, including
temperatures, humidity, wind speed, Moon phase and other considerations
prior to starting the investigation. Questions of this nature may be asked,
and we wanted to be prepared to give accurate and honest answers.
The owners of this home have noticed paranormal
events for many years, however, they have noticed a big increase in activity
since the birth of their great granddaughter.
The incidents that seem to occur in this house are
disembodied voices, apparitions and shadows being seen, their dog staring
and barking at things that are out of the normal for him, and they also have
tv’s that change channels by themselves, and turn off and on by themselves
at random times. This happens in several different rooms.
Our team first started out by checking the house
for any electronic devices being used inside and out. We looked at all
windows, (tight seal, single or double paned, any drafts) all vents, fans,
the furnace. Acoustics of each room, the doors in each doorway to see if
they were solid or hollow cored, unevenly hung, oiled, whether they had
functioning locks and were operational.
The ambient temperature in the areas of interest
inside was found to be approximately 72 degrees, and outside averaged 20
degrees.
This house was found to be very clean, acoustically
sound, and the only relatively high EMF reading we found was at the
refrigerator. The windows were found to be double paned, secure (no draft),
and the doors were solid for the most part. The doors required some help
from the investigators to get them to move.
There were three occupants and a small dog present
during our investigation. The occupants were very cordial, and extremely
inviting and compliant with our rules while we investigated. The dog
presented no problems at all, and in fact slept most of the time.
